Lena’s Little Something Sweet was created in one of those sweet, unexpected ways. I knew I wanted to design something with scalloped edges, but I wasn’t exactly sure why or how it would come together until I started drawing it up. Then it became one of those “once you see it, you can’t unsee it” moments.

This pendant was inspired by a personal childhood memory of my Nana making Mama Lena’s chocolate pie and saving me an extra little helping of the filling in a tiny green cup. It was such a simple thing, but it stayed with me — the kind of memory you can almost smell, taste, and feel all over again.

That is what this pendant is meant to hold.

The center bezel is made specifically for a meaningful inclusion, giving you a place to preserve something special inside your piece. This may be a small piece of fabric, lace, a dried flower, a lock of hair, a memorial keepsake, family textile, or one of the authenticated historical textile options I offer.
