I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little more about the heart behind Rising Sun Jewelry Co.

My name is Kelsea. I’m a wife, a mother of three, and the maker behind this little Alabama-based business. What started as a personal love for music history, meaningful keepsakes, and pieces with a story slowly grew into something much bigger than I ever expected.

This journey began with one ring.

After acquiring authenticated historical memorabilia materials, I knew I didn’t want something so meaningful to simply sit tucked away in a drawer or displayed from a distance. I wanted to create a piece that could be carried, honored, and worn close. That first ring became the beginning of Rising Sun Jewelry Co.

Today, my work includes jewelry featuring authenticated historical fabric, memorabilia inclusions, concert-worn textile inclusions when available, and custom heirloom pieces made with deeply personal materials.

Some of the historical textile pieces I work with come from documented clothing swatches released as part of a 1971 music memorabilia collection that included fabric, a poster, and vinyl records. These materials are carefully preserved and reimagined into wearable jewelry for collectors and fans who want to carry a small piece of history in a meaningful way.

Each design is made with intention and can often be customized with fabric, hair, or both. And yes, glitter is sometimes an option too — because glitter really does make everything better.

Authenticity and transparency are incredibly important to me. Qualifying memorabilia pieces include supporting documentation from trusted independent authentication sources, including Elvis Artifacts Authentication Services and/or Rockology, depending on the materials used.

In addition to memorabilia and historical fabric jewelry, I also create memorial pieces using meaningful personal inclusions such as hair, ashes, fabric, breastmilk, flowers, and fur. These pieces are some of the most tender work I do, and I consider it an honor any time someone trusts me with something so personal.
